The driving test is in two parts.

The first part is called the Theory Test. It consists of two sections:

  • A set of multiple-choice questions
  • A hazard perception test

The second part is called the Practical Test. It consists of three sections:

  • An eye sight test
  • A car maintenance test
  • A test of practical driving skill
Do I need to pass my Theory Test before learning to drive?
No. It is often better to learn the theory at the same time as learning to drive.
Why?
Because it is more meaningful and it's easier to remember and apply.
Can I get help?
Yes, see Books & CDs and Hazard Perception.
What if I need extra help, or a different language?
We can arrange for books in many languages, and can arrange extra help on a one-to-one basis at modest prices.
