The Driving Test
The driving test is in two parts.
The first part is called the Theory Test. It consists of two sections:
- A set of multiple-choice questions
- A hazard perception test
The second part is called the Practical Test. It consists of three sections:
- An eye sight test
- A car maintenance test
- A test of practical driving skill
- Do I need to pass my Theory Test before learning to drive?
- No. It is often better to learn the theory at the same time as learning to drive.
- Why?
- Because it is more meaningful and it's easier to remember and apply.
- Can I get help?
- Yes, see Books & CDs and Hazard Perception.
- What if I need extra help, or a different language?
- We can arrange for books in many languages, and can arrange extra help on a one-to-one basis at modest prices.
