Before learning to drive...
You need a valid, signed provisional driving licence.

To obtain one of these you will need forms D750 Application for a Photocard Driving Licence and D1 Application for Driving Licence. Both of these are available from a Post Office, Traffic Area Office, Vehicle Registration Office or the DVLA.

logbookWe at Mary Ashby have designed and produced the record, or log, book. The log book allows your instructor to record your progress. This means that you can see your progression to your goal of passing the driving test.

It allows for your own comments, as well as the instructor's overview of the lesson, and helpful hints for practice. This way you have input into your own training, and can keep an accurate record of your progress.
